Doolittles Sports Bar & Grill will be hosting the Scotia Rec Hockey League for a drop-in social on Sunday, October 4 at 7:00 pm.
This is a great chance to meet the players on other teams while you enjoy a purchased appetizer or cold beverage. Invite your friends and partner; past, present, and future roster players/spares are all welcome!
Jerseys are encouraged. Wear your SRHL team sweater, or any other you've got handy. Maybe... wash it first?
Come a few minutes early to sign up for a free pickup at CHP on Saturday, October 10 at 10:00 pm. Only current roster players are eligible, and we will reserve a handful of spots for each team to join.

Congratulations to the Doolittles for winning the Summer 2026 inaugural SRHL season!
The Blazers came out strong and battled for an early lead over the Doolittles. After being down 1-4 against the Blazers, the Doolittles pulled it together and tied the game 4-4 with three minutes remaining. This triggered our tie-breaking shootout rule for the playoffs, and in the end the the Doolittles won in the shootout.
Thank you to all the teams for a great inaugural season with a lot of fun times. Credit to Hockey Photos for capturing all these moments.
What a great summer season thanks to everyone who got involved! We're excited to announce our 2026-2027 Regular Season!
- 26 games: One game per week, starting in October and going until the end of March 2027
- 6 teams: A small enough community to know everyone while still having some variety! Returning teams: Blazers, CarEvo, Mariners, Golden Eyes. Expansion teams: Raptors and one more TBA!
- Events: We're planning a couple of events through the season to help connect players across teams and build a strong community. Reach out to get involved and help plan these events!
- Format: Expect the same format and rules as you're used to from our summer season.

We're proud to offer the low fee of just $4,000 per team. This is due in full by September 6 from each captain

Doolittles, Blazers, and Golden Eyes are all confirmed for the pre-season. We have one remaining spot which will be filled by either the Mariners or a new team joining us shortly. The Mariners have "dibs" until August 1 to decide whether they want to rejoin for the pre-season and regular season.
Also stay tuned for the Doolittles who are getting a new look thanks to their sponsor, CarEvo! They'll have the same great roster but a brand new look.
Team fee: $1,071 due in full by August 17 from each captain
Our first season is kicking off on May 5th with four full teams.
- 17 guaranteed games: One weekly game per week, scheduled on Tuesday or Wednesday night at either 10:00 pm or 10:30 pm
- 50-minute games: Hosted at Cole Harbour Place (51 Forest Hills Parkway Dartmouth, NS B2W 6C6) Scotia Two rink.
- Beginner and beginner-friendly: You're expected to play clean and give some time & space to players who are learning
- Captain-led: Captains handle their own team's roster, finances, uniforms, and spares. We work together on key league decisions.
